Hannah Xu

Lambert High School

Hannah Xu is an 11th-grade student at Lambert High School in Georgia and the founder of Honor Xcellence Fund (HX Fund), a youth-led nonprofit initiative that encourages young people to use their interests and talents to serve their communities. Since founding HX Fund in eighth grade, Hannah has led fundraising and volunteer activities that have raised more than $20,000 for hospitals, schools, community programs, and youth initiatives. She also personally contributes more than 300 hours of volunteer service each year.

Hannah is an accomplished student-athlete and musician. She serves as captain of the Lambert High School tennis team and has studied piano since childhood, earning recognition in international competitions and performing a solo at Carnegie Hall.

Hannah also uses these interests to give back. She volunteers as a youth tennis coach with Rally, an organization she also supports through HX Fund, and has helped sponsor youth tennis tournaments. She brings music into her service by performing at senior living communities and community events. Her volunteer work has also taken her to China, where she taught English and designed activities for local children.

Alongside athletics, music, and service, Hannah maintains a strong academic record and was selected for the 2026 Georgia Governor’s Honors Program.

Hannah believes meaningful change can begin with something simple: using what we already love and do well to make a difference in someone else’s life.
